Description: “Reading should not be presented to children as a chore or duty.It should be offered as a precious gift.” On the second day of Celebration of Reading the Kindergarten students enjoyed the stories told by their teacher. The joy that sparked in their eyes spoke loudly that they had relived the story in their heart. The students of Grade 1 & 2 had Bookmark making activity They were all seen sketching, colouring folding and sticking the papers to design their bookmarks. At the same time students of Grade 3 to 5 were engaged in Graffiti Wall activity. Students were segregated house wise and they wrote their creative thoughts on books and reading and stuck on the chart which represented a wall. Enthralled to see their piece of ideas displayed students geared up for the next day activity. This activity engaged students to think-out and talk-through their ideas. The activity gave a big window to explore the creative side of our students and they did a commendable piece of work.
