Description:
“ A book is a gift you can open again and again.”
To mark the end of ‘Reading Week’ our school organised a beautiful activity -‘Gift A Book”. Our promising students of kindergarten to Std - 5 participated whole heartedly. They exchanged a book with each other in their respective classes and shared the joy of reading. This activity was conducted to enhance their reading skills and help them to understand the importance of reading. In this great cause the teachers as well as staff also joined hands and exchanged a book with each other to keep up the true Karenite spirit.
To give a great ending to the celebrations of our Reading Week, “Picture Talk” was conducted for Std.1&2 and “Book Talk” for the students of Std-3 to 5. It was amazing to see the young Karenites playing the role of a Critic and discuss the displayed picture and about their favourite book.
It was a perfect ending to our endeavour because at the end of the week each child had a smile on their faces and each hand was holding a book.
