Special Assembly on Health and Wellness (Nutrition Health and Sanitation)
A special assembly was conducted by the students of Gr 1 and 2 on Health and Wellness covering the topic Nutrition Health and Sanitation. The assembly started with Lords prayer followed by the thought for the day. The dais was taken up by the teacher who introduced the topic and related information was shared by a PowerPoint presentation. The session continued as the students presented two beautifully prepared skit.One of it was to exhibit the importance of healthy food and drawbacks of junk food. (Healthy Food Heroes).Another skit was “Sanitation Squad to the rescue” where a very clear message on hygine and its benefits was shared. The session was wrapped up with an audience round where the students were asked relatable questions and they participated with full enthusiasm. Overall it was a fun learning session.
