Description:
“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up”.
This year 4th October proved to be the most memorable day of our scheduled “Joy Of Giving Week” in the lives of our students. This was the day when our students got the golden opportunity to meet the specially abled children of Ashadeep School.
The day started with a short Training Session by Mr.Daniel (Office Staff, St.Karen’s group of Schools) who guided the students as well as the teachers the basic ways to have a nitty gritty with such students.
The teachers and students received a warm welcome from Sister Lissy, Principal of Ashadeep School. Our students visited the different classes there and the foundation of an everlasting friendship was laid between them which was more strengthened when they all shared their lunch and laughed with each other.
Our students learnt some sign language from them but the most important thing which they learnt was to stay strong, stand up to challenges and never give up.
