Description: “A good story can imbibe the right values in the most impressionable age”. Keeping this in mind and following the “Reading Week”, our school today organised “Story Telling” for our tiny tots of Kindergarten, “Book Swap” for Std1&2 and “Story Sack” activity for Std3,4 & 5 as a learning tool to explore our students’ unique expressiveness and heighten their ability to communicate thoughts and feelings in an articulate, lucid manner. Today’s event aimed to foster the Reading, Writing and Listening skills of the students and guide them in transforming their imagination into successful dimensions. The activities were a testament to this commitment. The day began by taking a Reading Oath together by all the students and teachers at the same time. Thereafter the whole school buzzed with activities of different categories. The students of Kindergarten produced beautiful props while telling their stories in an innovative way. The students of Std1 & 2 did Book Swap and got indulged in Reading a new story. Class Teachers of Std 3, 4 & 5 presented the mysterious sacks filled with colourful words with which our students were asked to create their own stories which gave wings to their imagination. All the participants showcased their skills and performed magnificently and we were able to see life and expression in abundance. The creativity, thinking and communication skills found vent through these interesting events and the meticulous attention to details revealed the immense talent possessed by our young Karenites.
