To foster cognitive development, critical thinking and strategic skills among young Karenites an Inter House Chess competition was organized on 26th July 2024 for the students of std 4 & 5 by the School’s Sports Club. The students represented their houses with vigor, determination and a thirst to win . They demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout the event by shaking hands before and after each game respecting their opponents. The various twists and turns during the game had the experts on the edge of their seats and the opponent proved their mettle by overcoming the obstacles with win and tenacity. The students enjoyed a lot and learnt the valuable lessons about decision making , patience and concentration.
